Today in 6th class, we extended our Community Day by having a chat with Paddy about his childhood and life in Offaly and Dublin. We heard some excellent stories about Paddy's hurling career, past and present, and about what life was like growing up in Kinnitty.
Paddy was very popular among the Liverpool supporters in the class....not so much with the United fans! Despite their best efforts, the boys could not convince Paddy the Dublin is better than Offaly....it is great to finally have an ally from The Faithful!
We have also been enjoying a Tom Crean Workshop and today we took part in the second part of the workshop. We are looking forward to finishing it off next week!
