It is Community Week here in Scoil Chiaráin.
The boys will be taking part in lots of activities to celebrate both our school community and our local area. Some activities will include a picnic, litter picking, writing letters of appreciation to people who work in our community and each class will visit the Casino in Marino to learn more about this beautiful building on our doorstep.
4th, 5th and Rooms 6,10,11 will be working with Patrick Hunt and learning about our school garden, biodiversity and minibeasts and the boys in 4th and 5th will also be heading to Emerald Park on their school tour on Friday. The boys in 2nd and 3rd Class will be taking part in a football and hurling blitz with schools from our area. On Tuesday we look forward to welcoming the children who will be starting 2nd Class in our school next year as they pay a visit for a tour of the school!
