Our own Sistine Chapels

Today we explored the work of Michelangelo, including the difficult positions he found himself in while painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. The boys chose whatever subject they wanted to portray in their artwork but had to negotiate using a page stuck to the underside of their tables. The work was challenging but the boys all tried their very best and we laughed at the puzzled expressions on anyone who glanced into the classroom.
